Ancestry.co.uk

The West Yorkshire Archive Service is pleased to be working in partnership with Ancestry.co.uk to digitise, index and make available on their website copies of the Church of England and non-conformist records in our care. We are grateful to the Dioceses of Bradford, Wakefield and Ripon & Leeds and the parishes in those dioceses, as well as to the West Yorkshire Baptist and Methodist churches for their assistance in enabling this to happen. 

June 2011 saw the launch of browsable images of all the registers included in the project. A number of the registers are also indexed and fully searchable these comprise Marriages between 1754 and 1935, and Baptisms between 1815 and 1910 and Burials between 1815 and 1985

The transcribed and indexed entries for the earlier Church of England and all non-conformist registers will be launched in the Spring of 2012.

The following Church of England parishes have not been included at the request of the Incumbent and will not appear in the entries on Ancestry.co.uk :
